Canara Bank has taking initiative for picking up the young and educated youth of J&K and for this the bank has started a special programme for the J&K candidates who have completed their their Graduate and possess the valid degree for the post of Probationary officers and probationary clerk under special industry initiative( Jammu and Kashmir Scheme) and all those candidates who have attain the basic eligibility criteria which have been set by the Canara bank must fill the application form in the prescribed format or apply through online mode between 29-04-2013 to 15-05-2013 and all other detail regarding the recruitment programme is mentioned below

Eligibility Criteria
All those candidates who are interested to apply must possess a Degree in any discipline from a Govt. recognized university and for clerical post the candidates should have the proficiency in the official language of the state.

Note:-
a) The candidate must have computer literate and for checking it a test will be conducted after completion of training and those who have qualify the test will be deemed as having computer knowledge.

b) The candidate shall acquire the working knowledge of Hindi.

Selection Procedure

a) Shortlisting of candidates for training-
All those candidates who have applied must be shortlisted based on their academic record and a total of  300 candidates will be shortlisted for training of 3 months and the shortlisted candidates shall be allowed for training only on receipt of appropriate verification of antecedents and necessary clearance from Government Authorities / NSDC and after completion of the training, all the candidates will be examined and the successful candidates will be awarded with a certificate.

b) Selection Process for recruitment
After the completion of training the Bank will conduct a Written Test, Group Discussion and Interview of those candidates who have been certified successful in training for recruitment to the posts of Probationary Officers and Clerks, depending on the option given by them and their eligibility for the respective posts
 

The total marks for Group Discussion and for Interview are 100/ each and the minimum qualifying mark in the Written Test, Group Discussion and Interview for Unreserved category are 40% and for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates are 35% .

Apply Procedure- All the candidates have to register in www.nsdcudaan.com and apply for these post before the prescribed dates.and those candidates who have applied online have to bring with them a filled- in physical application form as per the format provided in the annexure and the candidates can also apply by  submitting physically application as per the format given in the annexure to the designated officer of Canara bank or to the Nodal officers at the designated degree colleges before the 15-05-2013.
