Directorate General Border Security force (Communication and IT Directorate) has intimated all the Indian born candidates that there will a direct recruitment Programme initiated by the BSF for the filling up the vacancies of ASI(RM), HC(RO) and HC(Fitter) in its Communication wing and for this Prescribed Applications forms has been invited from all the General, SC, ST and other backward classes candidates before the last date. The more information about the recruitment is 




Post to be filled:
 
1) Head Constable (RO) – 685

2) ASI (RM) – 103

3) Head Constable (Fitter) – 23

Total advertised vacancies- 811

Eligibility Conditions

Academic Qualification:

1) For S.No1- Matric pass and 2 years Industrial Training Institute Certificate in Radio & TV or Electronics or intermediate.
OR
10+2 in PCM

2) For S.No 2-  Matric pass with 3yrs Diploma in Radio & TV technology/Telecommunication/Electronics/ Computer/Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Domestic Appliances..
OR
10+2 in PCM with aggregate 50% marks.

3) S.No 3-  Matriculation & 2 years Industrial Training Institute Certificate in Engine Fitter or Diesel Mechanic or Automobile or Motor Mechanic.
OR
10+2 in PCM.

Age Criteria:
 
a) For General Category- Between 18yrs and 25yrs as on 30 Sep 2013 

b) For OBC Category- Between 18yrs and 28yrs as on 30 Sep 2013.

c) For SC/ST Category- Between 18yrs and 30yrs as on 28Feb 2013
(Relaxation in age as per Govt. Rules)

Application Fee- The General and OBC Category candidates prepare a crossed bank Draft for Rs 50 in favour of Inspector General/DIG/Comdt and No Fee for SC/ST/BSF serving personnel Candidates.

How to Apply:- Firstly the candidate must download the Application form format from the Notification and then fill it correctly  and then attach the following document mentioned below
1) Self- attested photocopies of educational certificates & DOB certificate
2) Three recent Pass port size photographs, duly self-attested, one each should be pasted on application form & admission card & third is to be attached with application form.
3) Two self addressed envelopes of 25*12 cm size with full postal address of the candidate that should be written on the envelop in Capital Letters duly affixed stamps of Rs. 27/- on each.
4) The envelop containing the application must be mentioned in bold letters as under “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ASI/RM AND HC (RO)/HC/FITTER”
5) In case the candidates do not receive Admit Card before Five days of commencement of recruitment, they should contact the centre personally or telephonically where they have sent the application.
