Indian Overseas Bank(IOB) are looking for young, dynamic and qualified candidates which are to be absorbed as Probationary officer in Junior Management Grade Scale-I for their various branches across India against 480 vacancies but this PO Recruitment Programme is done through Indian overseas Bank Manipal School of Banking programme (IOBMSB) in which all the selected candidates through online Exam will go for one  year Post Graduate Diploma in banking and Finance in IOBMSB and on successful completion of the Programme, the candidates will be awarded with PG Diploma in Banking and Finance by Manipal University and after that they would be absorbed as PO in Indian overseas Bank and to apply for this Recruitment programme, the Bank has invited online Applications which is to be filled before 29th July 2013.The more details related to this are given below

Total vacancies- 480 ( SC- 72, ST-36, OBC- 129 and Gen- 243) 

Eligibility Conditions- 

a) Graduation with min 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PC) from a Govt. recognized University.

b) Min 20 years and Max 28 years as on 1-09-2013

Selection Process- Firstly there will be a online Written Exam and after that Interview.

a) Training Period (9 Month)- Rs 2500/month

b) Internship Period (3 Month)- Rs 10000/month

Application Fee- Rs 50 for SC/ST/PC and for all others Rs 500 including OBC.

Bank of Baroda(BOB) and Manipal University has jointly started a Recruitment Programme from the Baroda Manipal School of banking(BMSB) for the 300 Post of probationary officer JMGS-I and in this programme they have selected candidates on the basis of online Written Exam , Group Discussion and Interview and after that all the selected candidates will be provided a Banking training in the Baroda Manipal School of banking and make them fit for the banking job. Eligibility Criteria

a) The Candidates must possess a valid Degree with 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST/PWD)

b) The candidate must be aged between 21 years to 26 years.

Application Fee- All those Candidates who belongs to General category must paid the fee of Rs 550 and Rs 50 for all others  to the nearest branch of Bank of Baroda by using the fee payment challan form which the candidate can download from the official link in case of offline payment and in case of online payment, the payment can be made by using the Master Card, Debit Card and Credit Card.

Selection Process- The Candidates must face the online Written Exam , Group Discussion and Interview for making the selection for the Training.

Cost of Training- All the selected candidates can go for the 1 year Residential PG Diploma course in Banking that would cost Rs 3.15 Lacs and this amount would be provided by the bank as an loan amount to all the selected candidates and this loan amount will be deducted  from the salary of the candidates after joining the Bank, every month for the period of 7 years and in the training, there will be stipend of Rs 2500 for all the candidates.

Detail of vacancies:

Total Student in take- 120 Vacancies(SC- 18, ST- 09, OBC- 32, GEN- 61)

Educational Qualification: Graduation in any Discipline from a Recognized University with Min.60% Marks and also necessarily Knowledge of MS office.

Required Age: Min 20 and Max. 28 Years as on 01-07-2012.

Application Fee: Rs 100 for unreserved category and Rs 20 for reserved Category. But those candidates who have applied previously for the PNB 775 Management Trainee vacancies and donot get the interview call are exempted from the Fee.

Required IBPS Score:

General- Min.146 marks

OBC- Min.125 marks

SC/ST/PWD - Min. 113 marks.

How to get Selected for the Training and Selected as Probationary officer: In this combined programme the each Candidate will go through from two phases

a) Firstly the Candidate will be shortlisted as the IBPS Score.

b) Shortlisted candidate will be called for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

After completion of these phases the deserving candidate will be selected for the 12 month Training Programme in which 9 month study Training at Manipal University Bangalore with a stipend of Rs 2500/- P.M and then 3 month Internship Programme at Punjab National Bank with a stipend of Rs 10000/- P.M.

After completion of 12 month Training the candidate will get a PG Diploma in Banking and Finance from Manipal University and appointment letter for JMG Scale-I  mainstream officer from PNB with an annual Package of Rs.3 lacs. 

Cost of Training Programme: The Cost of Training is approx. 3.15 lacs and this amount will also be provided to the selected candidate as an Loan amount(Educational Loan) by the Bank which the candidate will pay back to the PNB after their appointed in the bank.
