one more good news which gives smile to the face of all the educated and unemployment candidates of Jammu and kashmir and i.e the Indian overseas bank has taken the initiative for the training and recruitment of Probationary officers and Clerks under the Udaan which is a special Industry initiative scheme (SII) in which the participating industry provide skills and enhance the employability of  the youth of J&K and for this the online Applications have been invited from the all the eligible J&K youth with a valid Permanent residence certificate who have completed their Graduation and have the desirous to become the bank officer must eligible for these vacancies and applied before the mentioned last date in the Notification. The more details regarding this has been given below

About the Recruitment Programme
 
In this programme, 100 candidates will be shortlisted initially for the training based on the online/offline Examination and Interview and any other methodology  as decided by the bank in coordination with National skill development corporation and J&K Govt. and the duration of training programme will be 3 month and on successful completion of the training , the candidate will be awarded with training certificate and will be selected for appointment in the bank.based on academic performance of the candidate in the 3 month residential training and examination.

Note- All those candidates who have joined any other UDAAN partner will not be eligible to apply for the captioned training and selection process. 

Selection criteria for the Training programme

1) Probationary officer (JMGS-I)- 50 vacancies (SC- 6, ST- 4, OBC-14, Gen-26)

2) Clerk- 50 vacancies (SC- 4, ST- 6, OBC-14, Gen-26)

Recruitment Criteria after completion of Training

1) Probationary officer (JMGS-I)- 25 vacancies (SC- 3, ST- 2, OBC-7, Gen-13)

2) Clerk- 50 vacancies (SC- 2, ST- 3, OBC-7, Gen- 13)


Eligibility Criteria for both the Post 

Educational Qualification (As on 1-02-2014)- The candidate must completed their Graduation degree with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PC Category) from Govt. recognized university. 

Age Limit - The Candidate must attain the Minimum age of  20 years and Maximum age of  28 years.as on 1-02-2014

Indian Overseas Bank(IOB) 480 Probationary officer(PO) Recruitment 2013 through Manipal University Program

Indian Overseas Bank(IOB) are looking for young, dynamic and qualified candidates which are to be absorbed as Probationary officer in Junior Management Grade Scale-I for their various branches across India against 480 vacancies but this PO Recruitment Programme is done through Indian overseas Bank Manipal School of Banking programme (IOBMSB) in which all the selected candidates through online Exam will go for one  year Post Graduate Diploma in banking and Finance in IOBMSB and on successful completion of the Programme, the candidates will be awarded with PG Diploma in Banking and Finance by Manipal University and after that they would be absorbed as PO in Indian overseas Bank and to apply for this Recruitment programme, the Bank has invited online Applications which is to be filled before 29th July 2013.The more details related to this are given below

Total vacancies- 480 ( SC- 72, ST-36, OBC- 129 and Gen- 243) 

Eligibility Conditions-
