UPSC online Application form for Defence and Navel Academy Exam 2013

Union Public Service Commission have invites online Applications for taking admission to the Army, Navy and Air force wings of NDA for the 131st course, and for the 93rd Indian Navy Academy Course(INAC) which will going to start from 2nd of January 2014 and the candidates joining Indian Navel Academy would undergo 4 years B.Tech Course and would join the Technical and executive branches of Navy and the commission will conduct the written Examination for this course on 14th April 2013. So the unmarried male candidates who posses the required eligibility can apply before the last date. The more important information regarding the course is

Total Vacancies- 355 Vacancies

Wing wise Vacancies details-

a) National Defence- 300 Vacancies

i) Army- 195 Vacancies

ii) Air Force- 66 Vacancies

iii) Indian Navy- 39 Vacancies

b) Naval Academy- 55 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria for National Defence Academy and Navel Academy Examination(I), 2013

Educational Qualification- The interested Applicants must attain the following qualification

1) For Army wing- 12th Pass of the 10+2 Pattern or equivalent examination 

2) For Air Force and Navel wings- the Candidate must pass the 12th class of the 10+2 pattern or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics.

Required Age- The candidate must born not earlier than 2nd January, 1995 and not later than 1st July 1997.

Application Fee- The Candidate belongs to General category must paid the Fee of Rs 100 to the nearest SBI branch.and SC/ST and Sons of JCOs, NCOs, ORs are exempted from the fee.

Schema of Examination- The written exam will consist of following Papers 

a) Paper-I- It will consist of Mathematics which is of 300 Marks and the time duration is 150 minutes.

b) Paper-II- It will consist of General Ability Test(600 Marks) of 150 minutes and the General Ability includes General English(200 marks) and General Knowledge(400 Marks) and the GK will broadly cover the subject like Physics, Chemistry, General Science, Social studies, Geography, Current Events.
