Jammu and Kashmir Public service Commission has Published its much awaited Recruitment Notification for the Posts of Assistant Professor in various discipline in the Government Degree colleges of the state against 1289 vacancies. So all the eligible candidates of J&K state who possess the demanded qualification must send their fully filled applications in the prescribed format accompanied with the necessary documents to the office of the J&K Public service Commission Polo ground Srinagar/Resham Garh Jammu on or before 24th June 2013. Educational Criteria for JKPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2013 

For Item No 50-93:- The candidate must possess the Master Degree with 55% marks in the Concerned subject( 50% for SC/ST and Physically and Visually handicapped candidates) or equivalent grade of "B" in the seven point scale from an Indian University or equivalent course/ degree from an Indian/ Foreign University with NET/ SLET conducted by the UGC/ CSIR/ Association of Indian University (AIU)/ University of Kashmir/ Jammu or Ph.D

For Item No 94-96:- The candidate must possess the Master Degree with 55% marks in the Concerned subject( 50% for SC/ST and Physically and Visually handicapped candidates) or its equivalent grade of "B" in the seven point scale with letter O, A, B, C , D, E, and F with NET/ SLET conducted by the UGC/ CSIR/ Association of Indian University (AIU)/ University of Kashmir/ Jammu with accreditation from UGC or Ph.D.

Required age(as on 1st January 2013)- The Min and Max. age required for these Vacancies is 18 years and 37 years. 

Application form details- The Application form can be obtained from the office of the J&K Public service Commission Polo ground Srinagar/ Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu on cash payment of Rs 500/-(General category)  and Rs 250 for (Reserved category) through the counter of J&K Bank opened in the offices of J&K Public service Commission Polo ground Srinagar/ Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu from 9:30 am to 3:00 Pm on all working days.
