The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Department of Posts has intimated all the eligible candidates through its latest Recruitment Notification for filling up the various vacancies of Assistant/ Sorting   Assistants/ Postal Assistants (Saving Bank Control organization)/ Postal Assistants (Foreign Post organization)/ Postal Assistants (Returned letter offices)/ Postal Assistants (Mail Motor Services) and Postal Assistants (Circle and Regional offices) for the year 2013-14 in the 22 Postal Circles in the Country and for this above mentioned vacancies online Applications are invited from all the educated candidates before the last date mentioned in the Notification. Eligibility Criteria 

1) Candidates must Pass 12th Class from a recognized Board with necessary knowledge of local language of the state or Union territory of the concerned postal circle.

2) The required Minimum age is 18 years and Maximum age is 27 years

Fee to be Paid- Candidates belonging to General/OBC Category must pay an Application fee of Rs 400 and Rs 100 for all others by using the payment challan form and SC/ST/PH and women candidates are exempted from paying the fee.
