UPSC online Application for IES & ISS Exam 2014

UPSC in its Examination Notice No 04/2014-IES/ISS, Dated 8-02-2014 has notified for the Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical service Examination 2014 and this Examination will be done for the recruitment to Junior time scale of the services and for this the online Application form has been invited by the Commission from the eligible educated candidates of India and asked to fill the send the complete form on or before the last date mentioned in the Notification. The more details related to the UPSC IES & ISS Examination 2014 is as given below

Total vacancies- 38 vacancies

Name of Services with their numbers

1)  Indian Economic Service- 15 vacancies

2)  Indian Statistical Service- 23 vacancies

Eligibility Conditions

Required Qualification 

1) For S.No 1- The candidate must have obtained a Post Graduate Degree in Economics/ Applied Economics/ Business Economics/ Econometrics.

2) For S.No 2- The candidate must have obtained a Bechelor's Degree with Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics as one of the subject or a Master's degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics 

Age Criteria- The Min and Max age required to apply for this Examination is 21 years and 30 years as on Ist August 2014

Application fee- The candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH category including Women candidates are exempted from the payment of fee and Rs 200 for all others to the nearest SBI branch.

Schema of Examination- The examination will comprises of 
I) Written Examination of 1000 Marks
II) Viva Voice of 200 Marks
