UPSC online application form for Indian forest Services Exam 2015
It is pertinent to mention here that the Govt. has changed the pattern of IFS exam from the examination year 2013 by introducing a component of screening mechanism through civil services (Prelims.) exam.
Before applying for this exam, candidates must ensure their eligibility for the exam and after that candidates desirous for IFS exam as well as civil services exam can apply through a common online e-application form and submit it before the closing date of application. Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification- Candidates must obtain a bachelor degree in any one like Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Botany, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Geology and Zoology or in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering from a Govt. recognized University.
Age Limit- Candidates must obtain attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years.
Selection Process- The Exam will comprise of Civil Services (Prelims) exam (objective type) followed by Main Exam (Written and Interview)
Application Fee- No fee for all female candidates and SC/ST and PH category candidates and Rs 100 for all other categories.
