Why SBI has Created various Job Vacancies

The main Reason behind the Creation of Various Posts for Clerks as well as Probationary officers(PO) by the SBI  is

a) SBI Plans to open 1000 more branches in India to take the numbers to 15000 by ending March 2013.

b) To fulfill the vacancies which is lying vacant due to the Retirement of various officers in the coming years.

It is Pertinent to mention here that in the Last month the Bank has Notified the 9500 Clerk vacancies which includes 8500 Clerks and 1000 stenographer.So the bank has definitely come up with the 2500 Clerk Vacancies 2012.   

Eligibility Criteria for the SBI PO Recruitment 2012

Educational Qualification: The Candidate must have attain 60% Marks in 12th or Posses Graduation degree in any stream from a Recognized University and the Candidate must also have the Knowledge of Computers.

Age Limit: Min 21 and Max 30 years and this age limit must be applicable for the General Category Candidates and the Relaxation in age for the Reserved category as per the Govt.Rules.

Exam Pattern: The Candidate must face the objective type Written Exam which consists of  the following sections

A) The Written Paper consist of

a) English Language

b) Reasoning

c) General Awareness

d) Quantitative Aptitude

B) Descriptive Test of English Language

Selection Procedure: Written Exam and Personal Interview
